Admissions Criteria for Pre-Primary Classes:

  • While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
  • Admissions are offered on the basis of a Points Criteria and are subject of seat availability. The points are determined through the information submitted by the parent to the School.

For Grade 1 to 12 Admissions, the following criteria will be followed:

  • While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
  • There will also be a Grade level readiness assessment for the child.
  • The final decision of admissions is subject to availability of seats.

Admission Procedure:

  1. Step 1: Submission of the completed Registration form. Registration form from Early Years onwards will be available for submission from 19th July 2025.
  2. Step 2: Intimation by the School from 22nd July 2025on the date for:
    • Curriculum Counselling Session by the Vice Principal / Head of CBSE
    • School Tour
    • Intimation of the schedule and time slot for the student to be a part of the Immersion programme (optional)
    • To experience how the KED pedagogical approach personalizes the classroom engagements to build the skills in the child keeping the curriculum requirements on the core.
    • Interaction with the Head of School
    • For students seeking admission to Grade 1 to 11, a Grade Level Assessment will be conducted on the same date.
  3. Step 3: The successful applicants will receive a communication from the Admissions Team via email from admissions@ked.edu.in once the admission process is duly completed.
  4. Step 4: Admission formalities to be completed by submission of documents and payment of fees to be done within 3 working days from the receipt of confirmation of admission via email.

  • 2 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Toddlers
  • 3 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Nursery
  • 4 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Kindergarten-1
  • 5 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Kindergarten-2
  • 6 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Grade 1
    (subject to change as per the State Government age criteria for the academic session 2026-27)
